Like winter storming winds Like tumbling whirling seas Like mustangs running free My heart, its wings unpinned Soaring up unknown heights Where fires blow and rainbows glow To un-abating pools delight To unending pleasure runs Hush – Don’t move my racing heart – The eye of the storm has come - Serene the black hole after thunder Deep the abyss within the void We have come home my heart Home to rest at end of run In tranquil enchantment Unending calm ©Renate 5th September 2005 renate555@gmail.com
